NEW REPORT TYPE ADDITION, REPORT TEMPLATE MODIFICATIONS

 

In cases of new report type additions and/or report template modifications, a complete VSP re-install is not needed. The new updates can be implemented in the current environment by following the steps below to import Virsec- provided .zip file:

 

  1. Download the .zip on the local server

  2. Navigate to Settings > Configurations in the left navigation pane of CMS

  3. Expand Report Settings and click IMPORT REPORTS.Only .zip files are allowed

  4. Files can either be:

    1. Browsed on the local server

      OR

    2. Dragged and dropped from the local server

    3. Once a file is selected, click Upload .zip file link to commence the import

  5. Once the import is successful, click REFRESH REPORTS

  6. If a new report type is added, verify the addition:

    1. Navigate to Reports > Scheduled Reports in the left navigation pane

    2. Click SCHEDULE REPORT

    3. Verify the types of reports from the drop-down to ensure that the new Report Type is listed
