AUTO INSTRUMENTATION
This section describes the steps involved when Auto-Instrumentation method is opted for Probe installation

Select the application to be instrumented from the list:

Navigate to Applications > Application Types > WebSphere enterprise applications in the left navigation pane

Click on the required Application in the right panel

Example: The Application depicted here is virsecapps_war

Associated JVM Instance
-
Navigate to Applications > Application Types > WebSphere enterprise applications in the left navigation pane

Click on the required Application in the right panel

Click Target specific application status
-
The JVM information is displayed. The JVM shown in the below example is server1

Navigate to System Administration > Nodes in the left navigation pane. The Hostname where WebSphere instances are running is displayed. The Hostname shown in the below example is win2016

Application Deployment Folder:
-
Log in to the WebSphere host (Example: win2016)

Navigate to the directory:
%WAS_HOME%\profiles\<ProfileName>\installedApps\<Cell Name>

Example:
D:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01\installedApps\Dmgr01Cell01

Start Up Script File Path:
-
Log in to the WebSphere host (Example: win2016)

Navigate to the directory:
%WAS_HOME%\profiles\<ProfileName>\config\cells\<Cell Name>\nodes\<Node Name>\servers\<Server Name>\server.xml

Example:
D:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01\config\cells\Dmgr01Cell01\nodes\AppSrv01Node01\servers\server1\server.xml
