VSP ARCHITECTURE

 

This section describes the various architectural elements of VSP. The components include:

  1. VSP VM – Consists of all the VSP components – VSP CMS services and LFR

    1. VSP CMS – VSP CMS (Central Management System) is the administrative and monitoring User Interface (UI) of the VSP

    2. LFR – Local File Repository that contains the latest VSP installable files

  2. VSP Probe

  3. vRule Engine – VSP’s rule engine. Two configurations are available for deployment of the vRule Engine:

    1. Embedded vRule with VSP Probe - vRule Engine is embedded with VSP Probe and deployed on the Application Instance

    2. Remote vRule Engine - vRule Engine is deployed in a separate VM
