Network Requirements (VM/Container)

Ensure that the nodes have connectivity to the below URLs/repositories during VSP Probe (Controller and vRule Engine) installation:

VM

Probe Pre-requisites

  1. The minimum idle requirements for VSP Probe are:
    1. Host and Memory Protection:
      1. Memory: 100-200 (MB)
      2. Disc: 100-200 (MB)
    2. Web Protection:
      1. Memory: 200-600 (MB)
      2. Disc: 500-600 (MB)
    3. Requires 400-500MB in /tmp partition during installation
  2. On Windows 2008 R2, ensure that the below are installed:
    1. Windows Patch: Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4474419)
    2. Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 or above

Embedded vRule Engine Pre-requisites:

The embedded vRule requirements are dependent on the number of enabled worker threads:
